About Dil Dunia

Long time Oxford residents will remember Di Dunia, one of Oxford’s original Indian restaurants opened in 1956.

After a gap of a few years Dil Dunia has moved from its former site in Welton street to 209 Cowley road. The three sons of the previous proprietor are dedicated to maintaining the high standards and illustrations reputation of the Dil Dunia enterprise.

The décor is neutral, unobtrusive and unassuming, allowing you to get on with enjoying the food and service.
